The Aquila, already hard hit by the tremor of 6 April 2009, is located again confronted with the fear. Tonight, three more tremors have hit the territory of L'Aquila, in the area between Montereale and Campotosto. The aftershocks have followed within an hour: at 2.14 with a magnitude of 2 and 3.06 and 3.13, with a magnitude of 2 and 2.1. Municipalities affected by these shocks were Cagnano Amiterno, and Capitignano Montereale. During the night many people decided to leave their home and someone decided to spend the night outside or in the car. The mayor of the capital, Massimo Cialente, concerned by the continuing earthquake swarm has announced that the city's historical center, only recently reopened, will remain closed until Sunday again.
